THE COMPANY

City Contact was founded in 1996 in order to provide printed information to visitors, Greeks and foreigners, of the major hotels in our country.

It has developed an information network through Info Stand® and Visitor’s Free Editions and Brochures with the exclusive cooperation of leading hotels in Athens, Crete (Heraklion, Chania) in Rhodes, Corfu, Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, Santorini and Mykonos. .

In 2004 he created Athens Walking Tours, a recognized and very successful alternative activity in Athens. Athens Walking Tours has developed historical, archeological and gastronomic programs that are carried out daily by a team of experienced guides. In recent years, it has consistently topped the TripAdvisor Popularity Index as one of the major tourist attractions in Athens.

In April 2014, City Contact created the website www.tornosnews.gr. Tornos News is a news and business portal for tourism.

THE NEEDS

City Contact, from its business model, faces a strong seasonality in its work, while at the same time it has a range of quite different activities. The challenges of accounting support and the creation of a size monitoring mechanism in relation to the objectives are great. The company must ensure that it works smoothly but also that it is constantly on the right track, in every field.

THE SOLUTIONS

City Contact assigned to us the functions of accounting and payroll, which we undertook to fully support, with a mixed outsourcing model, with the presence of our team at the customer’s premises but also with the parallel use of our own infrastructure where required (eg . payroll).

Also, in collaboration with the City Contact management team, we designed a complex system of budgets and controls, with periodic budget vs actual reports, both in terms of activity and aggregation, so that we can constantly monitor the progress of all critical sizes.
